SW Starship Miniature Battles A-Wings repainted (on account of the FFG ones being the wrong scale) - 3 for Green Squadron and 1 for the Prototype. By a happy coincidence, I noticed the that the green visible on the main hull goes 1, 2, 3 - so that helps with assigning callsigns. And alongside the FFG X-Wing just to illustrate the scale.
A reasonably productive weekend:N scale 1/160, two resin Coupe's and a plastic VW Beetle, post-apocalypsed up and painted. Vaguely aiming for something akin to the boardgame team colours, do have a third Coupe but haven't settled on the colour yet.Warboys are courtesy of Hawk Wargames 10mm Dropzone Commander Resistance Berserker Infantry, slightly […]
Like pretty much everyone in the hobby, Mad Max was a major inspiration, unfortunately practicallity meant doing the 28mm versions doing the various rounds was just too big a project to store along with everything else (besides my brother got custody of Dark Future when we grew up and moved out) - although the two version of Furiosa out there are both gettin […]
Here are my first attempts at Green Stuff miniatures...Firstly; Melody Brook; adventurer and space-traveller. Here she is wearing a basic sheep-skin and armed with a holstered weapon. Could be from any time zone; present or future. Hello Sweetie! From a practical point of view she's a little on the large side when compared to other miniatures... some […]
One more addition to the first batch of scratch-builds.This time a Smiler from The Beast Below. Again, this is sculpted entirely from Super Sculpey clay.I gave the figure a detachable head so it could rotate to show both the "smiley" and "angry" faces.
Those of you familiar with my old Google-Sites page may remember the Krynoid that I scratch-built from Milliput. Well, over the last month I've been experimenting with a new medium - oven-bake clay. All of the models below, with the exception of the Tenth Doctor, are scratch-built using Super Sculpey clay.A bit more practice needed, especially on hands […]
With much encouragement/poking violently from pal Jason I got the Deathguard back out of the loft. Much as like the new files, I'd become disenchanted with the new game after realising that big critters like Mortarion, Magnus, Knights etc could turn up to any battle however large or small. Games and armies seemed to be shrinking into skirmish games betw […]
